Ignition key won't go in 2000
She tried everything I could think of, moving the wheel, checking the shifter,
the brake, but nothing. I called the dealer who immediately said this a "known"

Should I buy a Focus?
These included a leaking power steering rack, a shifter that wouldn't always go

I am curious about what symptoms you had when your ignition switch module failed
? It ran fine. I couldn't get the key out of the ignition. It wouldn't turn all
the way. Usually, I could move the car and the shifter would then go into park
all the way and then the key could be removed fine. But it ran fine. ...

Can't unlock my steering wheel!
There's a switch under the shifter(I have an automatic) that disengages when the
car is in park. That button was defective. I had already took out the console
and when the key was stuck, I had to use a screwdriver to hit this button so it

Then they replaced the shifter. Was that a manual or an automatic? An automatic.
I could move the shifter and it didn't help. I needed to restart the car, move
