2000 Ram 1500 Pickup 2WD V8 5.9l Quad Cab 178,000 miles
The truck has an Infinity system and the driver side tweeter is out, that is the one in the A column. The original factory part number is 5FV66LAZAB but has been replaced with 56043060AB. I am told it's no longer available hence I will need to use an aftermarket part. Unless of course somebody here replaced his and has one laying around?... more »

09 ram 5.7 hemi sounds

i got a 09 ram with the 5.7 hemi and it seems to be making a rather loud
ticking sound and im not sure if it is normal since it is more noticable
than when i bought the truck. i got it new with 2 miles on it and now it
has over 40k. it also makes a low whistling sound but not really sure how
to explain how it actually sounds like its like a tea pot of boiling water... more »

The Dak has surpassed 100k miles and is still running well, and still makes random unidentified noises :)

my heater bows cold air I replaced the heater coil and thermostat but sill it didn't help any one know what to do

1999 Durango Differential

I have a 99 Durango with about 104K miles. There has been a noise from
the rear end for some time and the Dealer "thinks" something is going
in in the rear end. but will need to tear the diff apart to determine,
which seems logical; however, I would like to be certain before I go
to the expense, which they estimate around a grand. Has anyone... more »

G238 Transmission woes

So I have a 2006 Dakota 4x4 and on the way home from a Xmas party
Saturday night, my designated driver says 'hmm, it won't stay in 6th
gear' And she was right, first either. I thought it was the clutch
but have now found out that it's def the transmission. We've taken it
out and apart and it got so hot that parts of it have welded together.... more »
