First of all, if they are in the back they are called tailights. Second,
clear is illegal. Third, they are the lamest thing going so get a clue.
I hope someone rearends you from being blinded.

Amendment to second point: The are legal if you don't use the original
clear lights, but use red, orange instead.

Bob
Dakota with red tail lights.

I'm assuming you mean clear tail lights, so you might wanna check with
www.jcwhitney.com, Jegs (www.jegs.com) has started selling these, too.
They've got a pretty big selection, so maybe they'll have yours. Jegs
doesn't have them online, you have to get a catalog or call them for part #.
I would go on to say how much I hate these (which I do), but since you don't
care, I might as well help you...

Yup - I agree they look stupid. But, I'm sure there's plenty of people out
there who think my lift or big tires are stupid. Hell, Jay's more than
happy to tell everyone who will listen that, "Fact of life: Lowering a
truck is stupid". The tree-huggers will tell you that owning ANY rear-wheel
drive (let alone a <GASP> 4WD) vehicle that doesn't get at least 50MPG is
stupid. As long as he puts in the colored bulbs like you say, then whatever
floats his boat....

At _LEAST_ he's not installing the clear tail lights on a little FWD rice
burner with a garbage-can exhaust, and a whole whopping 120HP. (And the
stickers.... CAN'T forget the stickers.... they add at LEAST 50 VHP -
visual horsepower)

Funny, the only time I've EVER seen these were on a Honda. a TEAL (not
mfg color, looked like it came out of a can) LOWERED hatchback. It
looked NASTY... Bigass chrome rims with the little bycicle-tires.. I
have nothing against Japanese vehicles, mind you (if I ever buy foreign
again, I'll go back to Toyota) but this thing was awful..

If you didn't want opinions, you sure came to the wrong place! Just take
them in stride and dump the ones you really don't like (like kids pretending
to be ferrari owners and such) in your killfile.

Personally I'd like to have one of them there sets of black covered
front tail lights.
Seriously, is there any truth to auto transmission problems with the
4.7L and "yellow foam" reported when opening oil cap (in cold states)?

Yellow foam? Is that anything like yellow snow?

Living in Texas, one rarely sees the latter.
