09 ram 5.7 hemi sounds

i got a 09 ram with the 5.7 hemi and it seems to be making a rather loud
ticking sound and im not sure if it is normal since it is more noticable
than when i bought the truck. i got it new with 2 miles on it and now it
has over 40k. it also makes a low whistling sound but not really sure how
to explain how it actually sounds like its like a tea pot of boiling water
that making the whistling sound but it is just barely noticable from in
the cab but under the hood you can hear it please help i got the lifetime
warranty but the dealers around here are complete jerks and charge for
other stuff
