Question is, who is "looser", Brutus, or you, sir?

Stevie didn't lose his ISP, he has posted just this week on rec.autos.tech under the name synthetc...@aol.com (or something very similar). He's even signing his name as Steve (with that BF Goodrich tire dealer crap at the end of his sig) not that we couldn't tell it was him anyways. It seems he has the sense to at least stay out of our group. He sure is stirring up shit on rec.autos.tech and the regulars there seem to know him very well and are also fed up with his bullshit.

Dose any one know how to get AOL to kill a acount? Im sure Stevie will find his way back here, he always does. Any one want to fund a covert opp to destroy Stevies computer? Charlie
Well, flame me if you must, but I gotta weigh in here... the group did a pretty good job of policing itself out of some whacked-out losers. Great. Two points:
1) If these guys 'rehabilitate' themselves, why not lay off a little? After all, what is the objective: to straighten out a wayward member of the flock, or just have some fun toasting ignorant people? Heck, that's as easy as shooting fish in a hubcap.
2) If these types actually quit posting, but are still lurking around, why provoke them by dredging this crap up without cause? "Never speak ill of the dead."
Excellent perspective. Just like real life, ain't no easy answers. I don't want to come off as wimpy: I am also a bit cynical about reformation, but what's a mother to do? I don't want chaos here, I just want to tune in to some good car talk. So, yep, I will do the heavy lifting to help keep it going, i.e., everytime some bozo gets my name from the NG and sends me some chain letter BS, I take the time to send it to ab...@netcom.com (for me) and to respond to the sender with a little piece of my mind (like I've got any to give away!). No one owns a NG, but those of you who read it and get some benefit do owe a debt to Charlie, Preacher, Nick, Goog, etc. ... you know who they are. The ones who shoot straight and don't mince words.

Oh, yes we do, Googs! How-in-the-hell else am I supposed to communicate with Patrick "the Crybaby Canadian" Gattafoni? :@)
