Ok folks,

Anyone have their drivers side wiper arm stop working? Plop, and hanging
over the side view mirror?
Seems to be a poor fail safe design. The driver side wiper connects to
the motor with some copper brackets.
problem is the DS wiper is on the end of the shaft. Thus the first to
fall off.
The brackets that wore out are copper, seems like a straight forward
fix.

Anything else I should replace while I'm in there?

Thanks

On another vehicle they called all the arms which move the wipers the "wiper
transmission". Transmission as in the bars are "transmitting" the movement
of the motor to the wiper arms! This came as one part. I couldn't order
anything separate.

Then the little arm at the end of the wiper motor is part of the wiper
motor. So I have had to order the entire motor when that part has gone out.
Can't order just that part.

Yes, thats it, transmission assembly. The arms are attached to balls
on the end of the transmission assembly with copper brackets.

Cheers

Thanks, But they only list 31, the bushings for the wiper link. I'm
looking for the bushings in the center. (above 9)
LMC doesnt have those called out.

Cheers

No these are on the end of 15043370 - Wiper Linkage. I can't get a
url, so pull up the search and plug this number in 15043370 .

I can see now, that just to get the copper bushings, I need to buy the
whole linkage arm ;(

Cheers

Ah, go to tinyurl.com for pesky links like these:

The link comes out like this:

Okay, you want the clip kit, which is what I was suspecting, but
you stated bushing. Late night and no desire to drink coffee at
that time does inhibit the natural progression of thought at times.

Wow they draped a piece of plastic between trees and sprayed some water on
it. Neat fx!
