Hi all,
I'm deciding whether to repair the damage from a sideswipe I got while
my car was parked (no, they didn't leave info). Given it's age and
value I don't have full coverage so it's up to me to fix . . . or not.
The damage is to the front passenger side quarter panel and both front

Hello again Experts,
Many years ago just after I bought that MBZ I decided to dump the cigarette lighter and I wasn't sorry about that.
Now, that old car is still running extremely well, and I am now trying to connect my Garmin to the empty cigarette lighter spot.

Tire comparison

I put Continental Conti Sport VMax tires on the car. I looked at various sites on the Intenet trying to compare the different brands but didn't see the info I hoped for.
The Continentals are smooth as glass at any speed.
Anyone have experience with Pilot Sport Cups, Goodyears or any of the others?... more »

1984 W123 230CE (or 230E I guess) Cold idle speed question

Not sure I have a problem, but when the car is cold (1st start in the
AM), it idles too slowly and is very 'juddery'. Putting it in D helps
a little (as the vacuum controlled ignition retard function is turned
aff), but its still too slow when drive is taken up (at idle). It
drives fine, so I feel the warm up regulator is richening it up OK.... more »
