The mother of a South Carolina toddler missing since
Thanksgiving was arrested in Georgia and accused of prostitution
shortly before her son's disappearance.

Police in East Point, Ga., say 22-year-old Zinah Jennings was
arrested in November after she offered sex to an undercover
officer. Authorities say Jennings agreed to take $40 in exchange
for sex. She is also facing a marijuana charge.

Jennings has been in jail in Columbia since late December,
charged with lying to authorities about the whereabouts of her
son. Amir Jennings was 18 months old when his grandmother
reported him missing, saying she hadn't seen the boy since
Thanksgiving.

Zinah Jennings had been staying with a half-sister in the
Atlanta area. East Point is just south of Atlanta.
