Of course the first thing Corey will want to know is what's his
position on marijuana law reform.
"It's a long ... It's a long question." "It deserves a full answer,
and not just a photo line like this." "I have no idea what
industrialized hemp is." - Mitt Romney, 2012 Townhall Meeting
The current administration certainly hasn't done much for reform
beyond admit they've smoked weed, but at least that's a step in the
right direction. I don't see how we can support somebody with even
less real life, first hand cannabis experience. Obama smoked pot and
grew up to become the first non-white President of the United States.
Because of pot or despite pot is irrelevant to the simple fact that
pot existed in the context of the man's life experience, and he
succeeded. We hold our Presidents to exceptional standards, and
cannabis use is part of the life experience of Barack and Michelle
Obama. Like all parents, they're struggling with how to expose their
kids to Drugs, and the truth about their individual use of them. The
country is experiencing the same generational struggle with the same
question.
