Apes will be here as long as man is here, because (wait for it...wait
for it...) man is an ape.

Some evolved one way and some didn't. Not all groups of apes
stayed together and some changed to fit their environment. I
do realize that this is beyond your intellectual abilities to
understand, but there's always hope. But, thank you for giving
me the chance to answer your question - even if you are a 'bot.

Jews are generally smarter than Christians.
That's why Christians keep trying to kill
them all off - centuries of jealousy. The
same thing with atheists. Christians can't
stand anyone smarter than they are or better
educated.

See above. Also, atheists didn't come from
any one religious group. We just didn't
advertise back then. Too dangerous.

Because Evolution does not require that the survival of one family line
means the death of all its cousin lines.

And the more primitive "ape" from which you barely descended has
descended along other lines into the various great apes of today.

You're right. I apologize to the apes and withdraw the remark. After
further scientific study, I have actually discovered that creationists
evolved from scum. And not very far, either.

Why are YOU still here, numbskull?
Just because some apes mutated and higher species resulted, that doesn't
cause the apes that did not mutate to become extinct.

See what RELIGION does to peoples' minds?

Adults no longer believe in the Tooth Fairy - but they still torture and
kill each other over ancient myths and superstitions.

"We all remember how many religious wars were fought for a religion of love
and gentleness; how many bodies were burned alive with the genuinely kind
intention of saving souls from the eternal fire of hell." --- Karl Popper

"When one person suffers from a delusion, it is called insanity. When many
people suffer from a delusion, it is called Religion."
--- Robert M. Pirsig

Either God wants to abolish evil and cannot, or he can but does not want to.
If he wants to but cannot he is impotent. If he can but does not want to, he
is wicked. If he neither can nor wants to, then he is both powerless and
wicked.
--- Epicurus, Greek philosopher, circa 300 B.C.

"Act of God" disasters like the Japanese earthquake expose the myth. Either
God can do nothing to stop catastrophes like this, or he doesn't care to, or
he doesn't exist. He is thus either impotent, evil, or imaginary.
--- CNN Belief Blog, 3-20-11

"With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and
evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that
takes religion."
--- Steven Weinberg, quoted in The New York Times, April 20, 1999

"Religion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false,
and by rulers as useful."
--- Seneca the Younger (4? BC - 65 AD)

"Religion once ruled the world. It was called the Dark Ages." --- Ruth
Green.

"Science flies you to the moon. Religion flies you into buildings." ---
Victor Stenger.

Because the evolution of a higher form does not cause the extinction of the
lower form it evolved from, you idiot!

Speaking of common decency:

Why does CBS get fined half a million dollars
for 2 second shot of Janet Jackson's left nipple
while Fox News can show a man killing himself on
live televsion and get NO sanction?

Same double standard in the MPAA. Nips gets "R", mass genocide gets
"PG-13".

Do you have any first or second cousins?

The present great apes are your cousins too, just a few generations more
distant.

Everyone knows that those experiencing genocide deserved it (that's what
god says, right?); Americans did _not_ deserve the view of Janet Jackson's
nipple, obviously. Personally, I missed it (in 60 years of not watching
football games, one thing of possible interest has passed me by), but I
have been assured that it was a nipple well worth attending to.
