In Ohio, gas is at an all time high of $4.14.
Unemployment now above 28 million, and not
including the other 30 million who just gave up.
Obama the Foodstamp president at 48 million.

As a supposed capitalist, do you believe that the government is obligated
to subsidize gasoline at a price you feel comfortable paying?

Shortly before I left California, gasoline was hovering around $4.50/
gallon in 2008, only to fall to nearly half that price after the economic
collapse (because demand dropped). Since then, the price has risen to
nearly that amount, which rightards like you describe as a "doubling" --
though in fact it still costs less in nominal and inflation-adjusted
terms than it cost under Emperor Bush.

A common trait I've noticed between leftards and rightards alike is a
lack of math skills. This is why you never see a leftard or rightard who
is a scientist or engineer -- they all hold degrees in sociology or flat-
earthism, if they hold any degrees at all. Two and two do NOT make five,
no matter how big a boner one has for Barack Obama or Mitt Romney.
