Thanks alot.
Is alot a word?
Do you have a Treasure Island, AC Moore or Michaels by you? Those are all
good places. I'm an artist myself and high recommend Plaid paints. They
have a wide variety of colors and come in both 2 oz and 8 oz bottles -
Definitely not pints or quarts which I would only think your daughter would
need if she was painting a wall or a huge piece of furniture. Damn, that
reminds me, I was right by my local Treasure Island today and forgot to pick
up some more sealer (I prefer the satin finish). Ding dang it.

Look in the yellow pages of your phone directory under "art supply". It
can be had in bottles, tubes or jars. Artists acrylics can be had in
quarts, but I doubt that you could get anything larger than 8 ounces for
any price you would consider even semireasonable. I've used Liquitex,
and have no complaints. You can't go wrong with Winsor & Newton
anything, but they're damned expensive.

Aaron Brothers is established well on the west coast, I think they still
sell acrylics in tubes like tooth paste. Pretty convenient to squeeze out
a bit on a palette. My wife used to paint.

Well an art supply shop would be an obvious choice...but newsagents usually
have art supplies in the back. Hobby shops too! There's a really good art
supply shop here...but I dare say a trip to Queensland, Australia might be a
bit inconvenient for a tube of red paint.
I've had good experience buying from Dick Blick.

Pints and quarts? Is she planning to repaint the Sistine Chapel? ;-)

I really wouldn't put her past her. A female god passing a life force
to Eve?
Robyn said in her alloted four words. :)

See the artist website www.wetcanvas.com It is a free artist site.
Acrylic paint comes in small tubes (like toothpaste) and squeeze
bottles in various sizes. Is your daughter a professional artist or a
student? If student, 'System 3' is a line of acrylics aimed at
students.
There's a lot more information on the website.
You're probably better buying locally unless you're buying quantity.
