Contempt of Congress meter reading-offscale.
Hello, theocracy with a fundamentalist US Supreme
Court who will ensure church and state are joined
at the hip like clergy and altar boys.

"As democracy is perfected, the office of president
represents, more and more closely, the inner soul
of the people. On some great and glorious day the
plain folks of the land will reach their heart's
desire at last and the White House will be adorned

An African Lark or an English Lark?
(Congratulations,)
Have you been reading too many of Terry's posts? Stoney wrote -- a lark.
Obviously that means African lark. It is also obvious that the painting
must be a miniature if it fits on the African lark, but then being a
Painter I'm sure you knew that.

Cool.
But in this day and age, a nice link to a photo of the painting is
pretty much required. Please oblige. Otherwise, we'll have to believe
you without evidence.

"It is necessary to the happiness of man that he be
mentally faithful to himself. Infidelity does not
consist in believing, or in disbelieving; it consists
in professing to believe what one does not believe. It
is impossible to calculate the moral mischief, if I may
so express it, that mental lying has produced in society.
When man has so far corrupted and prostituted the
chastity of his mind, as to subscribe his professional
belief to things he does not believe, he has prepared
himself for the commission of every other crime."
- Thomas Paine, "The Age of Reason"

Probably does, but I've no interest in a webpage.
