If we stick to this same flawed logic. If hell is below us, then wouldn't hell have frozen over?

getting a daily gentile reminder that rooking money from the faithful has consequences.

You're the one who keeps dancing around to avoid the content of the argument.
Can you, or can you not give a cite for your source?
Your descendents will be sitting on the edge of their seats right about now, waiting to see if you due (sic), or not.

You forget that Xtian wack-a-loons have no understanding of

them.

Budikka,
Armchair Mountaineering was QUOTING a Christianic moron on Facebook.
Those were not his words.

Sure. Perfect. 7900 miles x 7297 miles.
-- Sixty-five million (32%) of American women are overweight. These are round figures.

That, and a perfect sphere would have no mountains.

We were talking about the Earth's orbit, and Hovind said _that_ was a
perfect sphere.
It's not a sphere and not even a circle, but as the earlier poster
said, it's an ellipse.
It's the axial tilt that causes winter - It's not just the shorter
days, but also Lambert's cosine law: a beam a metre square strikes the
Earth at an angle, to illuminate or heat an area proportional to the
cosine of that angle. The lower the sun, the larger the area it needs
to illuminate with the same amount of energy.

Actually, an ellipsoid has three dimensions, but it is symmetrical about a long axis, like a football. A spheroid is symmetrical about a short axis, like a tomato.

It's the angle of insolation that determines the seasons, not whether the planet is approaching perigee or apogee.
Winter Solstice only roughly equates to perigee because the people who
marked the solstice lived in the Northern hemisphere. Geography decided
the issue. :)
