Now we're down to a year-and-a-half, folks!

May 21, 2011. The day of judgment.

If you haven't done so already, repent! Shed the sin from your life!

"Holy Spirit, help me to begin to see myself truthfully, rejoicing in
your life in me and facing what needs to change."

You can always tell who are the K00Ks by the number of exclamation marks
they use in their subject line.

Your mind set is .... disturbing.

Rejoicing and happiness at the end of the world is clearly
psychotic. Of course, religious insanity is something atheists
understand well.

Kindly quit drinking yourself into a coma on a periodic schedule. It's not
going to happen the day after my birthday, and it won't happen in 2012 (if
you can even figure out those mysterious numbers).

Gee, isn't it too bad that the date for the Mayan prophecy
is Dec 21, 2012.

And let's not forget, that while people are focused on
that date, that it would actually probably be the next
day that it would be about, since if the 21st is on their
calendar, then it should be a normal day. :)

I have no problem with the idea of repenting.

However - I wouldn't worry about the Mayan Calendar predicting the end
of the world within our lifetimes.

It seems that the original date calculated (2012) was way off. The End
of the World - if it is coming based on Mayan Calendar - is in 2220,
according to the latest info.

I give you this snippet from Wiki about this subject...

Misinterpretation of the Mesoamerican Long Count calendar is the basis
for a New Age belief that a cataclysm will take place on December 21,
2012. December 21, 2012 is simply the last day of the 13th b'ak'tun. But
that is not the end of the Long Count because the 14th through 20th
b'ak'tuns are still to come.

Sandra Noble, executive director of the Mesoamerican research
organization FAMSI, notes that "for the ancient Maya, it was a huge
celebration to make it to the end of a whole cycle". She considers the
portrayal of December 2012 as a doomsday or cosmic-shift event to be "a
complete fabrication and a chance for a lot of people to cash in."[12]

1) Just FYI, top posting is considered rude in usenet.

2) Did my post make it seem like I am worried?
I am not an end timer/Futurist and I don't think
that the Bible is all about us today, or it is useless.
