He is the creator god, one with a unique birth. His mother was a stone
& gave birth to him when she exploded. He made the first humans by
carving them from wood, & playing drums in order to make them dance.
It is he that we owe thanks for the dawn to. He stopped the night from
being forever when he cut it with a hard red stone. Thus giving us the
dawn.
Alas, as is not rare enough, he sailed away with a canoe full of
goodies promising to return someday.

OTOH, among the Buryan, he is not a he but the lesser deities.
