racist posts make me flash back to those
poignant, grainy 1930s films of the last
Thyalcine on Earth, the last one of his kind,
soon to disappear forever.
Where and when I grew up, Duke's kind
flourished, they were everywhere. Who
could have imagined that a few decades later
they would be on the endangered species list?
