Clinic refuses to see me after he learned I was an Atheist. He asked
me what religion I was and I answered honestly.

Did you report him? He had no right to ask what your
religion was and no right to refuse to serve you if he
didn't like the answer. He could lose his job for even
asking you, let alone refusing to help you.

His refusal to treat you is probably because of the well known fact that
Atheists lack a sole.
Hence there is no need for treatment.

His exact words after I revealed that I was an atheist were " I have
two nurses that cut toenails and I am turning you over to them" I was
delighted, seem to deflate his ego, I think I will still be seeming
him again as he shook my hand for the first time in years, while I was
leaving. He seems like a decent person, even if he takes his religion
a little too seriously.
Can you imagine what would happen If everyone reported improprieties
at the VA Clinics?
I have noticed over the years that the main skill of the Medical staff
at the VA is covering their asses and assessing blame.
