The modern inquisition has led to family dysfunction which in turn
creates the
core supporters of the culture of scapegoating (such as against
immigrants)
that, when combined with religious pols promoting dogma, despite their
dogma never having been settled within so much as a single religion,
enables fascist politicians to use their power for corrupt purposes.
The holocaust was preceded by an inquisition against gays and the
scapegoating of
immigrants (apart from the later genocide of the Jews.) Hitler was a
feminine man (in the modern American version of this experience,
discussed below, it has become clear that pols
associated with the religious right, including office holders, and
including office holders attacking gays, frequently proved being gay
themselves.
One of the prime points I make (below) is that aside from corrupted
disastrous economics, the
inquisition against the gays CAUSED THE PROPAGATION OF GAYS, ACTUALLY
IN A MULTIPLE OF LESBIANS TO MALE GAYS, and thus it is to be expected
that the closer persons are connected with the religious right,
especially those attacking gays, the likelier they are to be gay.
Also (see below) the gay gene ONLY PASSES MATERNALLY, the RNA limiting
the double X's now known to not stop the doubling of many of the genes
on the X (female)
chromosome, the key gay gene being at Xq28.
As to the crash, Ravi Batra instructed that the only perfectly
correlated dynamic with historic depressions is excessive
concentration of wealth, and, more telling, that this induced the
wealthy to rely on extending credit to ever less creditworthy
borrowers.
Making straight men afraid of being wrongly ferreted out as gay is the
perfect generator for oneupsmanship.

'late '08, early '09: no self-esteem; manhood caught up in their

This is surely the logical extreme of the masculine insecure person

This generated the legions of fathers/husbands buying beyond their
means.
It as well caused the flirtation with fascism. When the religious
right conflated their politics with their religion, persons on the
left were readily called gay, much as they were called "communist"
