More government is NOT the solution. But that's what the
unconstitutional law gives us: more government.

Quite so, despite your attempt to delude yourself otherwise.
Why? Because elections are a red herring. A and B voting for C to
steal from D is actually called "conspiracy to commit theft on the

Did you read the Supreme Court's ruling on Obamacare?
Did they say that states or individuals can still opt out of it and refuse
to participate?29 states had already done that before it went to the SC.
29 states, neighbor, out of 50.That's almost 60 per cent.Obummer has sparked
a revolution. There were only 13 states in the Confederacy.I can't imagine the people in those states voting to reelect him.

Indeed, the measurements were *developed* in England. However, they
are *set* as the official standards by the government to facilitate
interstate and international commerce.
Looking at what I wrote, I never claimed our government invented the
measurements, only that they *set* them as the standard. Seems you're
so ready to argue that you failed to read for comprehension.

Oh, *sure* they can. I saw Indiana governor Mitch Daniels on the
Colbert Report tonight, the guy who had run the Office of Management
and Budget during Dubya's depredations*cough*administration. When
Colbert tried to get him to answer as to what happened to the surplus
Dubya inherited from Clinton, Daniels tried to shuck-and-jive about
how the "dot com bubble burst," and it would have meant trouble for
*any* administration. No mention of starting two land wars in Asia
while simultaneously butchering the tax rates and engineering a giant
give-away to Big Pharma with Medicare Part D (unfunded). Oh, no.
Aaaaaallllllllllll that surplus went away because the dot-com bubble
burst. Um-hm.

Yes. The answer to God's question of Cain when Abel went absent is
*YES*, you *are* your brother's keeper.
> Tell me this:What have they ever done to demonstrate concern for my welfare?
Well, I voted for the man who brought in Obamacare, which, while not
perfect, may well one day save your ass when you discover you have a
major medical problem and Obamacare keeps your insurers from cutting
you off just when you need care the most.
> Would they spend a single penny or lift a finger to help me if I were in trouble? It;s a rhetorical question, yes, because the answer is obvious.
Well, shit yes, I would; so would most people. I've lived overseas,
Joe/Art, and let me tell you something about Americans: no one tops
us when it comes to generosity and the impulse to help strangers in
trouble. I'm really proud to be an American because of that.
The funny thing is, that giving compassion to others tends to earn it
for yourself.

And rescued after SEAL snipers killed 3 pirates in the covered lifeboat, in the first mission signed off on by Obama in his 1st ballsy move.

It's really sad how often he shoots himself in the foot.

It won't do that, despite what you've been brainwashed to
believe.
Here's something to remember: just as the christians have no
right to force their aesthetics upon us, you have no right to force
others to pay for your healthcare. Should you believe
otherwise--you're no different from the christians who think that they
can impose their hate upon us all via law.

If public health care is so wrong why did your
heroes Ayn Rand and Sarah Palin take advantage of it?

Ooooooh! Nice. Forgot about that one. Joe has too, apparently.

As I've pointed out, you also contribute to a tax structure that pays for his
excellent healthcare he gets due to the VA.

What, Joe can't get "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you"?
Qu'elle surprise. You ever notice how people tend to project themselves onto
others? Joe, being a selfish asshole, tends to assume everyone else is, too.
I mean, HE wouldn't lift one finger to help someone else, so why would anyone
do that for him? That he's spouted off like this doesn't tell us much about
other people, but it does tell us alot about him.

Oh? Constitution says otherwise:
Article I, Section 8, Clause 1:
The Congress shall have Power to lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and
Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general
Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be
uniform throughout the United States.
Obamacare was, as you're aware, ruled a tax.
Sorry, Don. Keep payin' your taxes.

I see. You vote straight D. So you're just a fan, like a Dallas Cowboys supporter, hooray for Blue Team, boo for Red Team, with no intellectual basis for your position.

To the contrary. I vote straight D, lately, to send a message to the GOP.
I have intellectually evaluated the GOP platform, and decided that it is
sufficiently evil in enough important points, that I cannot support the
party, or any of its candidates.
