Today my teacher told us that Darwin was right.
That Peppered Moths nailed to trees was science.
We should believe in Evolution despite the facts.
When I questioned Evolution, I was reprimanded.
Is Evolution a religion immune to skepticism?

No religion is a form of brainwashing.

Evolution proves that MAN was not fashioned out of clay!

Observations of the relative frequencies of light versus dark peppered
moths in industrialized areas of England was was science.

Nailing them to trees was photography.

We should believe in Evolution because of the facts.

> When I questioned Evolution, I was reprimanded.

It is your questioning of well established facts, and your replacing
those facts with irrelevancies that deserves reprimand.

> Is Evolution a religion immune to skepticism?

The only valid way of questioning Evolution, or any other science, is by
producing objective physical observations which conflict with that
science's theories.

But creationists like Liarboi Broiljab can't find any such objective
physical observation conflicting with Evolution, 'cause there isn't any.

On the other hand, considerable of the objective physical evidence of
Evolution and of several other sciences conflicts directly with many of
the claims of creationism, thus falsifying it.

That's because Creationism doesn't have any "facts." More than 99% of
all known species are already extinct so I guess you'd have to say
that Gawd should get a failing grade as a "Creator."

Then your teacher was oversimplifying.

The Biblical Creation story, however, is not factual; it's
allegory. And that's no oversimplification. HTH.

They got that covered. They say the 99% died in the flood. Even the
ones that liked to swim.
