LOL!!!

Reminds me of Jesus' promise to return.
"I'll be back soon!"

2000 years later and there are still people
waiting. The show's over, you can go home
now. Jesus has left the building.

Uh oh. I feel a Pompeii story coming on. Or maybe "they" dug a hole in the lava and
buried it. Or maybe the dreaded "goddit".

No bullshit to large to protect the babble.

Once again scripture is fulfilled...you were predicted Keith:
2nd Peter 3:4

I looked. There's nothing about Keith in that verse, Karl. Try again. And
see if you can't actually ANSWER a question or three while you're at it...

Indeed: "Lord grant me patience, and I want it NOW Lord".

I looked expecting to see my name there! I must
say I was disappointed :-)

I think Karl meant 2nd Peter 3:3
"that there shall come in the last days scoffers,
walking after their own lusts, 4 And saying,
Where is the promise of his coming?"

Seems like the "last days" have been going on
for almost 2000 years now.

"Walking after their own lusts?" Well, that's certainly
not me. I even drive the car up to the corner store.

Guess Karl was wrong (again), it didn't predict me.
Once again scripture wasn't fulfilled.

I predict Jesus will never return.

I predict some Christians will disagree with me on this.

Wow, everyone, look! I'm a prophet too! And since I'm right about the
latter, that means I must be right about the former.

The scriptures of Organic Machinery are once again fulfilled, here on
alt.atheism (and t.o., where so many a.a crossposts go...).

We'll wait.

Of course, you may have some explaining to do as to how the Ark was actually
found in the first place, since it seems to have been so-well preserved in
solidified lava (hint: solidified lava = igneous rock). Also, how they *found*
it (though that should be easy, since rock does weather).

This in addition to the notion that gopher wood would not have immediately
burst into flame when surrounded by what is in fact a form of plastic rock at a
very high temperature, well above the flash point of paper (which, as almost
everyone knows, is 451 degrees Fahrenheit :-) ). And paper is (usually)
manufactured from wood pulp.

Now I'm sure you can produce a web page that (1) proves the existence of Gopher
Wood before the flood, (2) describes its marvelous properties, one of which is
preservation of said wood inside of solified igneous rock, and another of which
is the ability to build very large ships therewith, and (3) demonstrates that
this, in fact, proves that God exists (as opposed to some other legend that
holds that there was in fact a global Flood, but no God would have been
required to cause it [for example, a space-borne comet cloud descended on the
hapless Earth, deluging it with water; the water then magically disappeared
over the course of a year because of an as-yet-unidentified suction device
provided by the Gremlins of Kzerbanatia :-) ].

Good luck.
