It strikes me as playing *precisely* into the hands of terrorists who
are already using the lie that this "war" is purely about faith. Way
to go moron Christians!

Yep, dudass, muslims believe that God calls for jihad. Christians call for love
of one another.

Jesus called for his followers to love everyone, but such RCC acts as
the Crusades and the Inquisition show that, whatever Jesus might have
been, the RCC is not following his lead.
So, when do they plan to actually start practicing what they preach?
And, when do you plan to?

Ah, THAT explains the priests buggering the choir boys. Just showing
their lurv.
That's why they're in Iraq and Afghanistan killing people you
hypocritical piece of trash? That's why the most Christian nation on
Earth, the USA, has the highest crime rates, the highest murder rate,
the biggest prison population? I keep setting you up and you keep
knocking yourself down. You really are the most stupid dimwit on
Usenet, and you prove it for us every day! LoL!

I rarely see christians call for love of one another (or at least
practice what they "preach"). Ask a southern baptist to express love
to all catholics. Not to say that one christian may genuinely like
another christian as a person, but the animosity between christian
sects is palpable.
What many christians do say is to worship this alleged god for its
"infinite mercy" or be tortured for all eternity. It's strange how no
christian will admit to the irony of that belief.

Too bad that they fail to practice what they call for.

Jesus:
Think not that I am come to send peace on earth:
I came not to send peace, but a sword.
For I am come to set a man at variance against his father,
and the daughter against her mother, and the
daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.
And a man's foes shall be they of his own household
Jesus:
If any one comes to Me and hates not his father, and mother,
and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters—yes, and his
own life also—he cannot be My disciple
(of 17 translations of that, 15 say "hate", one says
"disregard", the remaining one says "ready to abandon")
