Live US TV available anywhere in the world
I signed up with these guys - Live US TV - [link] I have a SlingCatcher, so I can watch the stream on my 37"LCD TV at a very watchable resolution. Keeps the wife and son quiet too, she gets all her Lost and Desperate Housewives long before they are shown here (UK) and he gets all his MLB and NFL games. Saves me forking out for... more »

Are Christians the most Apathetic people in the world?
In my long years of campaigning for a realistic and humanistic change, the excuse I heard the most often is: ONLY GOD CAN CHANGE THINGS! So I've come to the conclusion that Christians will never be part of the solution. They are waiting for God to fix up things while they think nothing but sin and damnation... Is God Unisex?
We say "He," "the Lord," etc... and do we have proof of that? That implies a sexual life of some sort because nobody believes he has a banana and that's good for nothing, huh? Hetero, bi, homo or UNISEX? I guess unisex has a tendency to masturbation. ;) ------------------------------ ------------------------------ ------------------------------ ------------------------------ ---------... more »

The non Christians have more Jesuses to claim than the Christians
Let's assume the crucifiction really took place (ie. that the fiction is real)... and then a few later Jesus rose from the dead. What's the big deal about when he didn't commit the "ultimate sacrifice," which is to die and be really dead? The non Christians though can claim many more victims and not less... more »

Jesus of Siberia?
I'm riding a bike like Jesus rode a donkey. Do you get the hint? There's no place for Quixotes or Jesuses! Or do you think there's a place for a modern Jesus? —Jesus of Siberia Back in 1989, as the Soviet regime was collapsing, a man from the Siberian town of Minusinsk, named Sergei Torop, lost his job as a... more »
