They released Beebris, which is like Tetris. Really good port. And there was
Project One, a shooter game. So look for those free releases.

If they're free, does that mean you either have to hook your Jaguar up
to a PC (a project I've actually been meaning to do for years - I even
have an extra Jaguar waiting) or make your own cart?

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it's also possible
to burn CDs if you have a JaguarCD system.

But have there been any hobbyist releases? Like carts/CDs with
labels, maybe even instructions or boxes? I haven't seen one of
those in a while (and missed out on a couple along the way too :-(
dang it).

You mean the toilet seat add on. ;)

So... really? Hrm, is it hard to do Jag. development on Linux,
I wonder?

That's right - I guess it would be possible now that the encryption code
has been released.

The toilet seat analogy is funny. I've never looked at it that way. :)

Even Yak called it that in his docs on how to get to the editor mode in
the VLM. ;) I don't remember the first time I heard the term used, but
it was probably over a decade ago, here on a.a-j.d ;)
