Please don't tell me that, in the United States of America, after this
terrible week, that I can't write my thoughts and feelings.
That's ALL that I am likely to do here, that's the worst (and best)
that I CAN do, is probe events, analyze information, bring you info you
might not have seen.
Please don't FORCE me to shut up. Please do not MAKE me shut up.
Just because you don't want to hear my "editorializing" about the
current situation.

Well THIS is the wrong place...The President has asked us to get back to
normal to show those bastards that they can't phase the American people. So
we are doing just that... Going back to work and school, etc.. I know it's

Veering off the topic of kooks for a second, I find the American
attitude towards our flag puzzling. I'm not attempting to criticize or
invalidate it; it just seems odd that it's taken to such an extreme. The
British and the French are fond of their flags, but we've made our national
symbol into a quasi-religious relic. Does any other country that anyone can
think of venerate its flag in this manner?
