Aldebaran or Al Dabaran <Success through integrity>. The Bull's south
eye. About 9-10 Gemini. Saturn will return to this position for its
final time in March.
One of the Royal Stars of Persia, "The Watcher of the East." Like the
other three Royal Stars, Aldebaran promises great success as long as
certain conditions are fulfilled. The issue for Aldebaran is one of
integrity. If the individual strives to achieve without compromising
their integrity, then there can be great success. However, they will be
tempted to compromise themselves (often by others seeking their demise)
and if they succumb, this is their downfall.

Why don't you admit that you stole the above from Bernadette Brady?

Here is the text from her interp report in Solar Fire:

He posted that because he has natal Mercury at 10Gemini and he thinks this
describes him. He posted the other stuff of Grant Lewi's about Sun
Taurus/Moon Capricorn because he has that combination, too, and it is a
fairly positive read. He posted the Mars in Cancer Lewi section because he
says Susan Boyle has that position, it is generally considered rather
difficult by astrologers, and the reading by Lewi was pretty negative.

He is, as usual, pushing a selfish agenda and making a little "statement,"
rather than honestly sharing astrological information.

You're such a transparent, petty little jerk, Edmond.

Absolutely, Julie. Well said.
He also omits the fact that on pages 233-234 of her book on Fixed Stars,
Brady tells us that Aldebaran is connected to the god Mithras, who was
known as "The Lord Of Contracts."
She says, " He considered all exchanges as sacred and therefore oversaw
the business of his followers, INSISTING ON THEIR HONESTY AND PURITY
my emphasis ), failing which the follower was condemned to an ordeal of
fire." A little further on, she says " Greatness can be achieved but the
individual will be challenged on issues of integrity and purity of their
thoughts and feelings."
Apparently, Woollmann isn't the only example of Mercury with Aldebaran.
According to Brady, no less a person than Niccolo Machiavelli had
Mercury rising with the star.
Wasn't he the guy who said " the end justifies the means " ?

Well, like Sharyn pointed out, most, if not all, of the delineations
he posts are from someone else. But those make some kind of sense. But
the stuff that makes no sense - that's probably his own!

Hee. Yeah that's really true.

On a side note, when I first read his post I immediately recognized
Brady's work. I first looked in "Fixed Stars" - and didn't find the
exact quote. Then I realized that it was probably in Solar Fire's FS
interps - and there it was.

I should've *known* that the creep would never bother to type
something in on his own - that he would resort to the lazy way, and
just copy and paste from the program.

Waste of time, that!

I caught that, too..

The important thing is that he's proving the worth of Brady's work.
The point of this star is that it can give success, but ONLY if one
has integrity. I think it's obvious from his post who *doesn't* have
same...

I have no idea. I notice that he's always used Solar Fire for his
charts on his websites, for some time.

It's not cheap, but I don't think there's any way to find out if he
got it legally. There are many re-sellers (or agents, or whatever -
not sure of the terminology) of that software. I forget the makers of
it - but they're in Oz.

Ah, here it is: http://www.esotech.com.au/

Well, I wasn't around for that incident - I think I would've
remembered it. Nor do I remember when I started reading this group.

However, if Esoteric Technologies is truly involved with Brady in
considering their legal options re: Eddie's plagerism, then they
should have no trouble figuring out if he has it legally.

I'd leave it up to them to decipher that.
