Discernment vs projection

Analytical discernment as opposed to projection is the determination of
the momentum and bias of a belief system and its reinforcing logic,
without becoming caught up in the belief system in question. This can
only be achieved in degrees through self knowledge. Any imbalance in the
perceptive faculties of an empowered and integral person will be
reflected in the overemphasis upon either the empirical perspective
(Virgo) or the surrendering and "faith" perspective (Pisces) and it is
the efficiency with which the identity deals with information that
determines this level of discernment (Gemini/Sagittarius-information
axis) and their belief in knowingness and trust of self. Awareness and
integrity are ALWAYS the keys. A word to the wise is sufficient. The
lines are fine and there are many.

how very true. we attract what we are and what we believe and the lessons
we choose to learn. in a sense it really doesn't matter if its projection
or discernment. that seems to lead to blame and disowning. owning the
issue tends to allow it to be heard and resolve. i say this wisely,
though with issues of my own, i have at times held on to them with a
tenacity that would scare a pitt bull. this despite my "knowing"
intellectually that a particular belief was not serving me. nevertheless,
i've held onto stuff - stuff that was creating stuff i didn't want simply
to be able to keep my identity. i mean i was so tied up in being a martyr
at times that i realized i was creating this martyr crap but when i asked
myself was i truly willing i realized the answer was no. why? i became
attached to the idea as an identity.
only recently, have i realized that i'm willing to give up creating misery
in my life. its a sacrifice :) but i'm now willing to do it.
i marvel at my foibles and laugh at them. projection is really such a
great tool. a blessing but instead its so easy to blame and believe in
separation and other non-sensical ideas that leave us righteously alone.
i should speak for myself here not us because i really only want the
responsibility of my own stuff.

"Merely" is a subjective value judgment implying projections are
"lesser" than discernments rather than the idea being 2 ways to view the
same thing. Discerning something accurate about the BELIEFS of the
individual, so that they can be identitfied and redefined if desired.
(like accurate empathy-Rogers, law of movement-Adler, law of
naturalness-Noel Tyl, law of momentum flow-E Wollmann).

Well, perhaps we don't agree on what projection is-it is not so easy to
be aware of projections because your own issues may be caught up in your
assessments. Two people in quicksand=can't get out (or difficult at
best). One on shore with rope WHETHER THEY HAVE BEEN IN QUICKSAND BEFORE
OR NOT=assistance (of course having been in quicksand helps
understanding and assessment). This is the reason for my boring and
wrote saying that "no one can interpret another life or level at or
ABOVE vibrationally, that they themselves have not functioned." or that
"the vibration you are will be the reality you experience everywhere all
the time" I don't just say these things as some fixed religious ritual,
they are well thought out heuristics.

Then at this level (which I totally agree with) I would no longer
consider it projection on the part of the counselor (reader implies one
way interaction) but rather discernment of similar incidents, vibrations
and realities, that the counselor now has a discernment of (and hence
the ability to recreate because they now own it) while the client may
still be caught up in the PROJECTED format of them. Discernment doesn't
mean that you can't share similar belief structures-it means you are
aware that they ARE belief structures rather than a "thats the way it
is" reality.
The whole reason for counsel to begin with (other than simple support
which is what I may end up doing mostly) is to allow the client to
interpret these projected versions of their consciousness (which we all
do) that they have created in their reality to reflect back to
themselves the ideas, reasons, and explorations that they chose to
create on many levels-to act as a mirror, a highly polished mirror- so
that they can adjust, change and redefine beliefs that create those
realities to preference and/or the refinement which they wish to, and
transform those they don't into something more prefereable. All of
physicality is a projection to begin with-what we DO with it, what we
put into it determines the extraction-because it IS us. Discernment
allows us to DEFINE them as beliefs, which allows us to own them-because
you can't change what you don't own-and you can't own what you can't
discern.

Nothing is "bad or good" and discernment allows us to see that. Although
we all mirror-some real-ize the difference between OUR beliefs and
ANOTHERS and whether what we are seeing is theirs or a projected version
of OURS that we are giving to THEIRS, and this is what I was addressing
in the post, and this is what I have defined and discussed as
discernment in my articles and upcoming book. Not seeing this truth
(3-9th house axis) limits the perspective of the observer (12th and 6th
axis square 3rd and 9th) and if totally rejected creates what we
experience as dis-ease (6th/12th axis)-the ultimate self limitation
reflected in the body (the effect of our consciousness) from refusal to
real-ize the creation of our own reality.
