Dalton Question
|
| |
Reading Dalton's Tables of Houses, and I'm wondering, is he using
Placidus?
I've tried using Placidus on my computer and comparing the results to
the book, and it tends to leave the 12th House a bit varied from what
the book says.

Astrological links
|
| |
There are so many great astrological services, articles, reviews, files, wikis and what-not out there that I sometimes feel it is a pity no one takes it upon himself to collect all that stuff and make it available to others. This thread is a small attempt at precisely that. I'll post links with an explanatory commentary and hope others will join in with what they have got. In this thread self-promotion is okay, as long as one stays away from linking to pure ads. (That is, pages linked to must have *content*, not only promise you will find it if you buy X, Y or Z.)... more »

Magi Astrology minibooks
|
| |
I know we have had a few discussions about the astrology branded as "Magi Astrology" here in the newsgroup, so I thought these two minibooks about their form of astrology could be of interest:

Actually I think they are two parts of one book, but it comes in two different PDF-files. Read more on the page.... more »

Nostradamus and Astrology (17)
|
| |
*
Many times, during my practice of astrology, have I been amazed
at the sometimes funny, sometimes not so funny, 'effects' of a
stationary Mercury upon daily life. Most of the time, it involved
a misunderstanding, a break in communication, a misprint, an
incorrect information, etc.

When I discovered the date and time of the unintended destruction... more »

The Eclipse of the Titanic
|
| |
*
Like many astrologers interested in the mundane, the sinking of
the Titanic has always been for me a subject of curiosity. Were
there any remarkable astrological configurations presiding over
this famous disaster?
*
Long ago, I had noticed a solar eclipse. Although the ship had
gone down during the night of April 15, 1912, the eclipse was a... more »

Gemini Swooning over Aquarians?
|
| |
Well, unlike a majority of questions in here, I am not looking for a technical explanation, as I am not familliar with houses ETC.
I didn't realize it at the time, but many Geminis, even some who have little in common with me, seem to swoon over me, as an Aquarian. Gemini seem to be `quite emotional-and-I become rather fond of them. Yes, I am dating a Gemini... more »

Evidence for or against tropical and sidereal astrology
|
| |
The other night I looked in the sky and in spite of the fact that mars
is currently Rx in Virgo, I could clearly see it right in the center
of Leo,. I've never really given much thought to sideareal astrology,
but seeing this so clearly has made me think about it more over the
past day or two.... more »
