Description: JFK Assassination Discussion. (Moderated)

Considerations of a back to neck perforating wound
Descriptions of Kennedy's neck wound by the Parkland doctors emphasized roundness over ovalness. In particular, Dr. Carrico, who inserted a breathing tube past the bullet hole, called the neck wound rather round. Dr. Perry who performed the tracheotomy described the wound as roughly spherical to oval and his assistant, Dr. Baxter,... more »

Has History-Matters Gone Belly-Up?
The History-Matters website has been unavailable for about 5 straight days now. I've seen that site have 1-day outages in the past, but I've never seen it go out for this long. I sure hope Mr. Bradford hasn't pulled the plug on that excellent site. I'll sure be upset if it never returns, because a lot of my... more »

Throat wound... for Pat Speer
Hi Pat, I am curious is about JFK's non-fatal wounds. As I see it there are four options (A) Two direct bullet strikes, back and front, neither penetrating (B) Back wound = non-penetrating round; throat wound caused by non- direct strike (shrapnel from back shot, shrapnel from head shot, bone frag from head shot or rose prick)... more »

Jerry Logan?
Jerry, it's hard to find many analytical types in the newsgroups these days. If you get the time, I would love to have you take a look at my presentation on the (alleged) shot at 285. It's less than 10 minutes long. [link] If you see any flaws, please feel free to post them in the newsgroup.... more »

Final Questions For Pat Speer .... !
Before getting on to his next video . Pat Speer : PS Tom Lowry : TL PS : "So, perhaps instead of assuming someone like myself from the music industry has nothing to offer, you should be asking yourself ... beyond constantly insulting those who've done real work on the case, what do YOU have to offer"?... more »

That Pat Speer has a "Bunch" .... !
of "Grainy Photo's" that just don't pack the "Punch" ..... Is self evident when you look at his highly selective use of photographs taken of JFK that day . One even shows JFK standing up , which would be of no use at all ! [link] Fortunately .John does have the proper photographs that... more »

John Horton, CIA executive
He died in 2007. He found the Oswald tapes among other stuff in Win Scott's office after Scott's death, according to Jefferson Morley's and Michael Scott's book "Our Man in Mexico: Winston Scott and the Hidden History of the CIA" (2008, University Press of Kansas) (Michael is Win Scott's son). Does anyone have further information about him?... more »
