In an e-mail to Dave Reitzes in November 2000, as Dave recently posted
in Part 12 of his, "Judyth: From the Beginning series, Judyth told
him:

"Anyway, the letter i have from Walter Reed mentions file name
MEDEC-ZOA. I was ZOA and I was assigned to something called ZOE."

In her book, as a caption under the photo of the letter she received
from Dr. Jacobus at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, Judyth
writes:

"The letter and notes I received from Walter Reed referred to a file
called 'Medec Zoa'."

The letter can be seen at:

http://the-puzzle-palace.com/WalterReedLetter.jpg

"MEDEC-ZOA" appears to the left of the "logo" under the letterhead. It
is in no way buddied up to Judyth's name.

I asked a couple of military types, one Air Force, one Army, about
that acronym and both told me the MEDEC would refer to the Command,
and the ZOA would refer to some office within that command. They were
exactly right.

This is not a "file" nor does "ZOA" designate Judyth. It is what the
Army calls an "office symbol" and is essentially an address.

In army lingo, the first 5 letters, in this case, MEDEC, designate the
command. MEDEC was the Medical Research and Development Command, it
was created in 1958 and existed until 1994 when the command name was
changed to MRMC, Medical Research and Materials Command. Today the
office symbol for Walter Reed Army Institute of Research is MCMR.

The 3 letters after the hyphen, in this case "ZOA" refers to the the
place and department or office within that command. We know the letter
came from the office of the Chief of the Radiology Department.

The three letters that follow the current command, MCMR, are UWZ. Like
ZOA, those letters do not stand for anything ... they designate an
address within the command. The UW is common to all
offices/departments within WRAIR today. The third letter narrows it
down to which department or office, and if those 3 letters are
followed by a hyphen and then a number, it narrows it down even
further, even to a specific person.

MEDEC-ZOA was essentially the office or department address in Army
speak.

I spoke to Debra at WRAIR, she is the Assistant Director for Research
Marketing and Policy Development. She went to a couple of old timers
as well as to historical data on the previous command designations ...
and their "office symbols" of yore ... and then called me with the
information. My thanks to her.

MEDEC-ZOA is no mystery ... and no file or designation regarding
Judyth.

After trying to pin responsibility for the current flood of posts on
Judyth on others, Barb picks up the gauntlet once again to pass up
discussion of information on this letter and instead attempt to float some
sort of gossip that she seems to thinks will be detrimental to Judyth.

Someone needs help with delusion here.

Bull. But we're used to that from you. I addressed a CLAIM Judyth made
about this letter. I don't know how she got her notion that this was
some spooooky letter with a file having been opened on her ... and her
having been given a code name to boot, but it is demosnstrably
INcorrect. It's about claim verification ... which has been no secret
that is going on.

Try to keep up, Dave. Barb is trying to pin the blame for the flood
of posts on Judyth she initiated on me. My issue is not only that she
does that, but then overlooks actual information in her posts in order
to pick out a piece of gossip she thinks will be detrimental to
Judyth.

Not in the least. The ones I have started are quite identifiable and
are in keeping with what I posted I was doing months ago: fact
checking, trying to verify claims Judyth has made. That's the kind of
thing we are about here. MOST of us are, anyway. It's your one line
stutter posts that do nothing to promote discussion or understand the
evidence that are basically just sPam.

> My issue is not only that she
>does that, but then overlooks actual information in her posts in order
>to pick out a piece of gossip she thinks will be detrimental to
>Judyth.

Example please. Oh, wait that's right ... you just make allegations,
you never actually explain your ...uh....thinking.

For instance, Judyth claimed, as I noted thru quotations, that when
she wrote to Walter Reed and Dr. Jacobus replied to her, they had
"opened" a MEDEC-ZOA file on her ... in fact, she said SHE was ZOA.

I checked out the meaning of the MEDEC-ZOA notation on the letter she
received and discovered, from the Walter Reed Institute itself, that
MEDEC-ZOA is an address in Army speak. It identified the letter as
having come from WRAIR ... and from which department. Nothing more.

I addressed the claim. Checked it out. Judyth's claim on that issue
was not true.

You immediately posted a one line insult in response.

Now, just what on the MEDEC-ZOA claim did I "pick out a piece of
gossip" that I thought would be "detrimental to Judyth" and ignore
anything else?

You're the gossipy one here.

"This mountain of well-poisoning verbeage has no function and serves
no purpose other than as a feeble bullying attempt. Anyone who refuses
to be pushed around gets dumped on." [2-18-08, Pamela McElwain-Brown]

That is exactly what you do here. All you do. Sorry, but you cannot
bully me ... nor a number of others ... away from doing some simple
fact checking. That you are unable to accept or even reasonably
discuss what the findings say is not anyone's problem but your own.

Barb :-)

Well we CAN blame you Pam, your the silly one who actually still
believes Judyth was a witness to something other than probably seeing
Oswald clock in and out at work. Hell, even that might not even be true.
The only thing we have to go on as far as her desk being a few feet from
where all the employees would clock in and out is Judyth's sayso. We all
know Shackelford just took her word for it and look where that got him. So
im not even ready to conceed even that. If you actually had something new
to add, mabey you'd be able to initiate a few threads of your own.
Instead of just sitting back on your fanny and attacking Barb for some odd
reason. Could it be your a little jealous that you have no new research to
put forth of your own, while Barb over the past few months has been
beating you over the head sensless with new research that proves beyond
doubt to any sane person that Judyth is either a liar or a quack?

If MEDEC-ZOA is classified then why should Judyth, whom you think was not
cleared for secrets, be reading documents with that marking? If MEDEC-ZOA
is NOT classified then you should be able to point us to an open source
document that explains what and where it was.

How much more simple can I make this? Whatever information Barb is
posting, she is only focusing on tidbits of gossip that she thinks can
work against Judyth. The actual documentation adds definition to Judyths'
statements.

If research were done on aaj there would be no need to define the gossip
for what it is. The gossip is simply a roadblock to any actual research.
You seem comfortable going around in the same circles for years, now
regurgitating old posts. Why not take a step forward instead?

Yes.....available in many medical supply outlets...schools that have lab
animals etc. It was a common medical treatment for sick lab animals
exposed to Xray treatments.

Read the document that you have on your site....WRIR. WRIN and WRAMC all
encouraged hs students to contact them.....it was a great recruiting
program for the Army....to build up the medical personel......

How she paid for it or obtained it outside of WRIR would be imaterial.....

Again, you don't seem to understand the point of my sarcasm. Of course
there was no Internet then. Al Gore had not invented it yet, although
there may have been Milnet then. Of course Judyth did not have a credit
card then. Of course a minor can not buy dangerous and expensive chemicals
at the local pharmacy. She needed the help of Walter Reed to provide her
with the necessary chemicals.

No, you didn't get my point: the chemicals are common and readily
available commercially. And you can certainly doa little actual

What she is saying, Barb, and you know it very well, is that she doesn't
regard this newsgroup as place to publish research.
Knowing this, you chose to make another characteristic snide remark.

This from the dude who has been "publishing" Judyth's story and what
he considers evidence and documentation of her claims for years. As
for Pamela, where DOES she publish any research ... and if not
interested (as is obvious) in any research sharing here ... just why
IS she here?
