Mrs. Kennedy.
No; there weren't any words. There was just Governor Connally's. And then
I suppose Mrs. Connally was sort of crying and covering her husband. But I
don't remember any words. And there was a big windshield between--you
know--I think. Isn't there?
Mr. Rankin.
Between the seats.
Mrs. Kennedy.
So you know, those poor men in the front, you couldn't hear them.

As we know, that window had been removed long before. There was no privacy
window between the front and rear of the car on Nov. 22, 1963. Was Jackie
really a scatter-brained dope?

And, she says that if she had heard the first shot, she could have pulled
Jack down, and he wouldn't have been hit by the second, but, after the
second shot, she didn't pull him down then, either. She fiddled around
with his crotch. We can't see what she did because the film has the limo
framed so low that JFK's crotch is below frame...coincidentally, but she
was doing something down there. She never looked into his face again until
after his head blew up. Then, when she goes for her crawl on the trunk
that she didn't remember, she actually pushes off with her left hand on
JFK's head. And if you think that's weird, listen to her talking to LBJ a
month later.

She was either one screwed-up gal, or there was something else going on
here.

How disrespectful you truly are.

I find it doubtful that Mrs. Kennedy ever paid much attention to small
details like the window having been removed from the limousine, since it
wasn't her personal limousine it was her husbands. She was provided with
one of her own. I also find it doubtful that she occupied that limousine
often enough to know that the window was removed.

Obviously, you are correct. I think. I mean, why would she lie about the
window? Maybe she had a drug problem. Whatever the cause, her testimony
was erratic and inaccurate. And I'm I'm not just picking out the gems
here. They didn't ask her very many questions.

You mean like the day before?

Well...lets see. Mrs. Kennedy was undergoing shock treatments for obvious
reasons, not to mention the medication she was probably taking at the time
of her testimony which you are picking apart. I don't know how old you
are, but back then, people had more respect for each other than they do in
today's world. And while the Warren Commission was obviously trying to
spare her from having to relive that day as much as they could, they could
not have known that years later, people would be making such a mockery of
what she said or didn't say. Just how "normal" do you think she should be
after seeing her husband's head shot off right in her face? It's an odd
thing, trauma is. And you never get over it.

Disgusting.

Or maybe the WC chopped up her testimony.

I don't know whether Jackie had electroshock therapy. Apparently somebody says she did. I don't know whether she took drugs which would whack up her mind. Apparently somebody says that she did. But, if the Warren Commission wanted to "spare her from having to relive that day," then there was no point in questioning her at all. Or, as with George De Mohrneschildt, they could have asked about stuff that had nothing to do with that day, if they had just wanted to chat. But, they did ask her about that day and her answers were loony, for whatever reason.
