Please bear with my ignorance should I tread over well-trodden ground
regarding JFK's limo. A couple of questions:

1.) Was any evidence collected from the limo? If so, what became of
the evidence?
2.) How was the limo returned to DC? Cargo plane?
3.) Was the bubble-top placed back on the limo at Parkland?
4.) Were any photos taken of the interior of the limo Parkland? On
occasion I've seen a photo of the interior of LBJ's limo mis-
identified as the interior of JFK's limo.

My appreciation to any former members who care to share information
regarding my questions.

A number of bullet fragments were recovered from the floor of the limo
after it had been returned to the TSBD. In addition there was a crack in
the windshield and a dent in the frame of the windshield indicating they
had probably been hit be some of the fragments. To the best of my
knowledge there was no evidence of any other part of the limo having been
hit by gunfire.

I believe that was the standard mode of transport.

If seen a picture of the limo at Parkland with the ragtop up. I'm guessing
that was done because the SS didn't want photographs taken of the gory
mess inside. CTs might suggest they had sinister reasons for doing that
but I think it more likely that was done out of a sense of decorum. I'm
guessing it was done after an agent had started to clean up the mess but
was stopped when somebody told him that was not a good idea, so he raised
the top instead.

Not to my knowledge. Photos were taken after the limo was returned to DC
and much of the blood was still visible in the back seat.

So the car was returned to the TSBD. That's where they picked up the
phony Oswald bullet fragments and threw them inside the limo. The jig is
up.

Where did you get that? The limo never went back to the TSBD. It went
straight to the airport. Why do your conspirators need to have the limo
come to them? They can't afford a car of their own to drive to Parkland
Hospital? The limo was ALWAYS guarded by the SS and local police.

Yeah, I just saw that in my reply. Obvious typo. I think I meant to say
DC. I'm amazed at how often I will have one word in mind and another one
comes out of my fingers. It is especially a problem with homophones. More
often than not, I seem to use the wrong word even though I know the
difference. There instead of their. No instead of know. The one that
really baffles me is when I switch one and when. They don't even sound
alike. From what I've read, I'm not the only one who seems to have this
strange affliction.

Silly goose. The limo was not returned to the TSBD. It went straight to
the airport and then to Washington where it was examined in the White
House garage.

Except for the hole in the floor.

No, one one told him to stop and they were already putting the top on the
limo before he started to clean the back seat. When you see him leaning in
the top is already on. Not only did they want to stop people from LOOKING
at the gore, they wanted to stop people from taking photos of the back
seat and prevent spectators from contaminating the crime scene.

Yes, a kid took a picture when the limo arrived at Parkland, but a SS
agent grabbed the camera and ripped out the film.

I've only had the chance to answer this once so please post it a few
more times.

Yes, some of it was turned over to the FBI and tested. Some has
disappeared. Some has been destroyed during testing. Some was thrown away.

Yes.

> 3.) Was the bubble-top placed back on the limo at Parkland?

Yes. Stoughton took photos of them doing it.
