‘The agency never told Mr. Blakey that the agent, George Joannides,
had overseen a group of anti-Castro Cuban exiles in Dallas in the
months before the assassination, when Oswald had two well-publicized
clashes with them.”

I doubt that Joannides had an oversight that stretched from New
Orleans to Dallas.

Where did Oswald have the clashes with the DRE?

I'm sorry to learn of the death of Gaeton Fonzi, who was certainly a major
force during the HSCA investigation. I was most impressed with his book
THE LAST INVESTIGATION. I make reference to Gaeton in regard to the late
Curtis Craford, aka Larry Crafard (who died in March, 2011) in my article
"Creating A Patsy" (midway through it - section 8, starting with "During
the course of my research..."). It is available at:

This is not about what Johannides knew. This is only about the CIA not

In the article, Fonzi's wife, about her husband, is quoted as saying, "He
thought the murder of President Kennedy was a turning point in history. He
said it was the point when the American people stopped trusting their
government."

I would contend that Watergate, not the Kennedy assassination, had a far
bigger impact on the American people's distrust of government.

The extent to which the notion of our government's complicity in the
Kennedy assassination (whether through a direct assassination or a
cover-up of the truth) has caused cynicism and distrust on the part of
public can be placed at the feet of the conspiracy community itself. They
have themselves to blame - ironically, people like Gaeton Fonzi.

So you are admitting that Morley is not onto any conspiracy.

Thank you.

That's the conspiracy fallback: when forced to admit that something
isn't any sort of conspiracy evidence, they bash officials.

.... Good Day.... Many years ago I contacted Mr. Fonzi for the first time
to then provide the online transcript of his 1980 Washingtonian article's
original manuscript (that manuscript led to his followup writing of his
excellent book, "The Last Investigation"). I posted the transcript of his
manuscript via the now-defunct AOL FTP service. I just checked the WayBack
archives, and that transcript is still available for everyone for saving
(complete with Gaeton's original spelling and grammar mistakes in his
manuscript).. ..

I had the honor a few times (not enough!) of sharing some of his thoughts
and sharing my thoughts about the elimination of President Kennedy. (and
suggested to Gaeton, once, in the late 1990's or early 2000's that he
write another book).

Rest in peace, Sir.

He hasn't been able to prove anything yet because the CIA keeps
withholding the files. Isn't that how your cover-up works?

You seem a little confused. Watergate was a conspiracy BY the government
against political opponents. Run by the President himself.
Most people allege only that the JFK assassination was a conspiracy
AGAINST the government, not by the President himself, but against the
President. In both conspiracies the entire apparatus of the US
government was used to cover up the conspiracy.

Sick. Pathetic. Now you are blaming the JFK assassination on the
victims. Is there no dirty underhanded trick you won't try? All to
protect your beloved CIA.
