I just added 3 hours and 28 minutes of CBS-TV video footage to my
YouTube channel.

The new 20-part series consists of CBS coverage from Saturday morning,
afternoon, and evening (11/23/63), the day after JFK's assassination.

There is some very interesting footage in here, including:

1.) Multiple lengthy conversations with Dallas Police Chief Jesse
Curry.

2.) An interview with Lee Harvey Oswald's landlady (Gladys Johnson).

3.) A talk with Captain Glen King of the DPD.

4.) Eddie Barker of KRLD-TV interviews (at some length) Judge Sarah T.
Hughes, who issued the oath of office to President Lyndon Johnson 24
hours earlier.

5.) Excerpts from two different memorial music concerts.

6.) A roundtable discussion with moderator Charles Collingwood
(featuring five distinguished guests, including Thurgood Marshall).

7.) Three different segments with Dan Rather reporting live from
Dealey Plaza. (And btw, the Stemmons Freeway sign, which is a sign
that many conspiracy theorists think was removed almost immediately
after the assassination, is easily visible in at least two of the
three Dealey Plaza reports that are included in this 20-part series.)

8.) The "Roll Call Of Presidents" with Charles Collingwood (at the non-
YouTube link below):

A noble effort, but don't you see the problem you have created when your
videos confirm everything the conspiracy advocates say?

When the conspiracy theorists mention something that Curry said and you
WC defenders deny that he said it, we can now prove it by pointing to
your video.

BTW, you misrepresent the wacky theory as usual. The theory is not that
the sign was missing. The theory is that the sign was REPLACED. That
means another different sign was put in its place, so there would still
be a sign there, just not the original one with a bullet hole in it.

Thanks, David. As usual, the early footage gives one much to wonder
about. Early in the day, Chief Curry explains that the paraffin tests
showed only that Oswald fired a gun, and did not specify that he fired
a rifle. This is repeated by correspondent Nelson Benton. Even so, by
mid-afternoon, Cronkite said that the paraffin tests showed Oswald had
fired a rifle AND a pistol. Where did this come from? Their own
correspondent had already stressed that the tests DID NOT prove Oswald
had fired a rifle.

Now, if this were an isolated case, you might just write it off. But
NBC did the same thing. And the next day, the Washington Post among
others also stressed that the paraffin tests showed that Oswald had
fired a rifle.

The only thing I can think of is that someone--the FBI?--told them
having residue on both hands meant Oswald had fired a rifle. Any other
ideas--from LN or CT--are welcome.

From the CIA. Cronkite was a CIA agent. He was paid by the CIA to frame
Oswald to deflect attention from them.

Addendum to my previous post: it appears that Cronkite did indeed
correctly chracterize Oswald's discharge as "undesirable." He is
still referring to a Mauser, and shots being fired from the 5th floor,
however.

The only logical response I can come up with here is the following
one:

WTF???!!!!!!

I wonder who paid him to declare the Vietnam war an inevitable
"stalemate."

Oh, yes, and this response too (of course):

LOL!

SO? The CIA was still referring to a Mauser bought from Klein's.

So nothing, really. The usual "fog of war" errors made by the news.
Cronkite does later correct himself, stating that the rifle was not in
fact a Mauser, but in fact a (in his words) "Mahnlisheyr Carcanto" made
in Carcanto, Italy. (his difficulty with the pronunciation is priceless)

Another notable item is that one of the reporters, even at this early
hour, is already asking Curry (or possibly Wade?) if there is a connection
between this, and the attempted shooting of Gnl. Walker.
