This was thoroughly discussed in the "Mary, Judyth and the Queen of Spades" and "Ruth Paine and 'The Queen of Spades'" thread a couple months ago.... early June as I recall. You should be able to find it all on google ... quite long thread.

Japp: I've researched the consideration of the "QS" and Baker could not provide details concerning the "QS" and the concerns of the WC. This was during direct email contact with her years before she moved out of the US.
I hope your inside information does not deal with the "QS". I don't discuss my work in detail on this but there are some newsgroups posts on the issue.

Judyth had knowledge that Mary was unable to explain away, even though she seemed to have wished she could, for whatever reasons.

As of last night, Marsh had put up 113 posts in the first 3 days of August; just awhile ago, I downloaded 68 posts, 34 were his. One would think he could give you a simple answer to your question somewhere in there,wouldn't you?
