Lane continues to be intentionally dishonest.

It was Sawyer who called in the description. He said he got it from a
witness, but didn't remember much about the witness.

The WC correctly concluded that Brennan most likely gave the
description to Sawyer (they didn't claim to be absolutely sure),
because Brennan was the only known witness who provide *any* detailed
description of the shooter, and because the descrption Sawyer gave to
the Dispatcher rather closely matched a description known to have come
from Brennan.

Nothing about any of this implies a conspiracy.
