, an error doesn't become a mistake until you refuse to correct it."

Hmmm ?

Sounds good .... lets see the Kennedy's put the theory into
practice ....

JFK's war time record .....

Cleansed......?

Normally when a USN Capt. .... loses his command ....

There's a Court Marshall to exonerate or incriminate his
actions .....

Especially if someone is killed ! ....

What happened ?

Kennedy was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Medal for his lifesaving
actions following the 'collision'; it was established in 1941 for heroic
actions at risk of the person's own life but not involving actual combat
......

The USN was apparently reticent about decorating JFK ......they took six
months .....Why?

After Kennedy family friend Forrestal became Secretary of the Navy , JFK's
war time record was completely changed ....

from ......

Helped save one man .....

To ....

The entire crew ......

JFK added after.... While attempting to torpedo an enemy vessel....

end ....

.

PS : Rule # 2 : T

The first place to look when trying to figure out a 'conspiracy
theory' is to look at JFK's life . Invariably what ever the theory JFK
probably invented it or did it first in his 'glorious' career .

War Hero ?

http://www.answers.com/topic/john-f-kennedy
He returned home a hero, though a naval inquiry into the sinking
indicated poor seamanship and command on Kennedy's part.

Vietnam

Kennedy ordered U.S. military advisers and trainers to South Vietnam,
18,000 in all, to prop up a pro-American government against attempts
by communist guerrillas to undermine it.

But he also decided to allow South Vietnamese military units to
overthrow President Ngo Dinh Diem and install a new military leader.

Although Kennedy hoped the new regime would improve the situation, the
November 1, 1963, coup began a prolonged period of instability in
South Vietnam that all but ensured that U.S. troops would be needed
for the war.
