If Judyth fears for her life by living in the USA, why would she make
public appearances to promote her book (just in time for Christmas)?  She
also appeared at a hotel in Vancouver, BC and was briefly profiled on the
local news.

Is Vancouver in the USA? If the CIA really wanted to kill her, would she
be safe anywhere? They can hit anyone in the world at any time.

The U.S. would never dare stir the sleeping polar bear by stepping on

StopIn article <50a92af...@mcadams.posc.mu.edu>, Anthony Marsh says...

Oh stop whining, that wasn't an attack.  I was simply poking fun at your
paranoia about the CIA.  I meant it to be funny, not an attack and it
certainly wasn't a threat of any kind.

Cowboy up Marsh.

Most people forget that in the War of 1812 it was the United States
which attacked Canada.

I always think of Judyth during the holiday season because of the
prevalence of fruitcakes.

Yes, Vancouver, Wash. is in the USA (they refuse to change their name, after several efforts to do so), across the Columbia River from Portland, Oregon (not to be confused with Portland, Maine).  Vancouver, B.C., of course, is in Canada, on the West Coast, 2 1/2 hours north of Seattle, Wash. - prwhitmey

Canada, of course, didn't become a country until July 1, 1867.  Prior to that date, it was a colony of Great Britain. - prwhitmey
