Belli on Ruby & women, sex and Oswald

... but his talk about women was simply prissy. When he spoke about
one girl with whom he had gone out for several years, he always
prefaced his remarks by the reverent statement that she was "such a
decent girl." And he never talked of sex. Most prisoners will
sublimate their frustrations with some sort of jokes or chatter about
women. But not Jack.
One topic he backed away from. Never once did he voluntarily
mention Lee Harvey Oswald by name. After we spotted this, we tried him
on it. During our second jail visit, Joe Tonahill asked if Ruby knew
that Oswald had a wife and two little children.
Two lines deepened between Ruby's eyes and he said, "That's not
fair." Then he started talking about something else.
Yet he never expressed any remorse over killing Oswald, never, as
far as I could see, was willing to concede that there had been this
living, breathing human being who had died at his hands.
