Dave,

The photo was taken above the Stemmons exit ramp at Industrial outside
the Trade Mart. I sent the following note, including some info from
Trask's 'Pictures of the Pain', to the first person who asked me
about it three months ago:

Stephen [Fagin, Sixth Floor Museum associate curator] and I just
watched the relevant part of Charles Hodges' recent oral history. He
and his three friends waited outside the Trade Mart and one of them,
Mike Cargile, borrowed Charles' camera and climbed a sign to get that
overhead view. So the late Michael "Mike" Cargile (1946-1994) was the
actual photographer.

They did not know what had happened but once they knew they went to
Parkland and walked around the emergency entrance area. An AP man,
Henry Burroughs, saw Hodges taking pictures and asked what he was
doing; Hodges said he had some from Love Field and the one from the
Trade Mart looking down into the car. He also said he got some
pictures inside one of the cars with some flowers, and also of some
blood on the pavement.

Burroughs only had $100 on him - all his "expense" money he said - and
bought the undeveloped role of film. Hodges took it out of the camera
right there at Parkland and handed it over.

Do you even have Pictures of the Pain? Did you read the story about the
little boy who took pictures of the back seat of the limo at Parkland and
some agent grabbed his camera and ripped out the film? How do we know that
Burroughs didn't do the same thing?

Gary Mack is not brave enough or foolish enough to post here himself. So
he uses proxies to make his attacks.

He's not making an attack, Marsh. He is simply offering commentary re
the photo.

The person who appears to be making attacks, including labelling the
photo as a hoax, would appear to be Tony Marsh, Marsh.

An attack on whom? It looks like a hoax by someone, unnamed.

You were making an attack on Gary Mack, Marsh.

You had to search thousands of messages back to May to find some reason
to attack me? So what if I attack Gary Mack here? He's not man enough to
post here now.

Can't see much in this photo, but if Ralph Cinque gets hold of it, I'm sure he can find Oswald in the back seat giving CPR to the president.

Get a hold of yourself, Tony. Gary is restricted to post at newsgroups and
forums, due to his position at the Sixth Floor Museum!

So first you were NOT attacking Gary Mack with what you said but now you
ARE attacking him, Marsh?

Which scenario are you positing this time?

I have always attacked attacked Gary Mack since I've been online. Can
you show me any messages when I didn't attack Gary Mack?

That you are confused.

Is "attacked, attacked" like a double attack? Why not take a little time
to proofread your comments, Tony. - prw

Very sound advice there from Peter Whitmey, Marsh. I suggest you heed it.

Probably wouldn't be a bad idea to go back and read your contributions to
this thread in sequence and deal with the contradictions raised there as
well, Marsh.

Is that the best you Grammar Nazis can do? Point out typos? If I wasted
all my time pointing out your grammar errors, I wouldn't have any time to
do anything else.

But Tim, to whom you replied, didn't point out any typos, he said you
should "read your contributions to this thread in sequence and deal with
the contradictions raised there."
