Who was the motorcycle patrolman seen in the Z-film riding to the
driver-side rear of the limo? I remember seeing an interview of him
in which he said a bit of brain-matter struck and adhered to his upper-
lip.

Based on the tone of his voice and facial expression, it was easy to
tell the assassination had a profound impact on him.

If I remember correctly, it was Billy Hargis.

That would be Bobby Hargis, who reacted quickly and quite
professionally to the shooting, first running up the (not yet famous)
grassy knoll, then, not finding anything suspicious there, heading
back to the area of the Book Depository. His testimony has been used
to support theories of a grassy knoll gunman, although he himself has
never promoted such theories. John McAdams wrote this article about
it:

And the DPD radio has Hargis citing, at 12:34, a witness who saw
something from the depository. Funny thing, though--twice, Hargis
said that he did not use his radio. Perhaps he was in shock....

Not quite. Hargis parked his cycle in the middle of the street and then
ran to the north sidewalk. Seeing nothing, he ran back to his cycle and
drove around to the other side of the triple overpass. He did not lead the
charge up the grassy knoll. I would suggest that you also read Pictures of
the Pain.

Perhaps he forgot. Can you prove it is his voice?

Hargis was another witness that didn't believe the first shot missed.
