The Dark Arts - can gothic artwork be fun?

I know a lot of people who like Gothic Artwork (Quentin Blake and Tim
Burton type art), but I like it more when it's mixed with a sense of
humour. Not just a sense of humour perhaps, but with an appreciation
that it's not "all that serious".

Anyway, with this in mind, I've been trying to come up with some good
characters, and I'd appreciate any feedback on what I have at this
