I'm writing a paper and I wanted to know some more information about the
painting and the painter.
The painting's title, I think, is "The Sad Clown"
It's a painting of a sad clown(a homeless clown) sitting on a bench(or
bustop?), holding
a drooping flower.
The artist had actually created many "sad clown" paintings, all of which I
am interested in.
I do not know the artist's name and I am having consideable difficulty in
locating it.
I was hoping someone might know something or at the very least point me in
the right direction.
The artist's bio(brief):
The artist painted the sad clown paintings while serving time in prison.
Eventually he was executed(I think) and his paintings were going to be
incinerated. However, at the last moment, one of the security guards
decided to take them, eventually selling them.
That is all I know about the artist.
Thanks in advance,
Yuting
