Available on Kindle(for cheap)
and at Lulu.com(for print copies)

(don't you guys ever produce collections?)
or are ya just gonna twiddle your butts
and play nice with the 50 bucks ya get from
some obscure journal a handful of people read?

It seems weird to pay for poetry when the best that's ever been written is available free. It seems strange to charge for poetry in a world where the majority of people wish plaintively for it to go away.

I produced a collection of translations (Looking and Playing in Space) in 2011. I was planning a second book last year, but something happened with the cover art I wanted, which I won't get into.

Hey Vic, good to see you back here!

Yes, I've produced chapbook collections of my poems since 1983 when I made my first one, "Red Zeros".

That's now evolved into compact discs, with my poems set to musical backing, and the Shadowville Speedway collection, more info on that via the link below:

Will?
I'd like to make a chapbook from my writings on
http://anvilheat.blogspot.com
How would I go about doing that?
Having a difficult time choosing 10 or 15 and everything else
involved.

Hello Vic, I'll have a look at that site!

I used to make my chapbooks by hand, laid them out by pasting the poems on the pages, then print them up, cut and staple... seems like there was a page on that old school method online somewhere at one time, I'll look for it and link here when/if I find it.

Hope Mirrlees: Collected Poems
by Hope Mirrlees, Sandeep Parmar (Editor)

*********Spanning several decades of her life, multiple continents, and significant events, this collection of Hope Mirrlees's poetry includes previously unpublished work and the modernist writer's later poems and essays, written circa 1920. Also included is the full text of Paris: A Poem--a daylong, psycho-geographical flânerie through the streets and metro tunnels of postWorld War I Paris. Groundbreaking and illuminating, this volume is a testament to Mirrlees's contribution to 20th-century poetry*****************

Stinky's following Will's practice of consulting a thesaurus for synonyms. Too bad neither of them understands that synonyms aren't always interchangeable.

Why are you still here, Stink?

You have nothing to offer to any conversation. Is this how you want to spend your final days... making a nuisance of yourself to a bunch of strangers?

Go sit around the campfire with your friends, sing Bob Dylan songs and toast... whatever you and your buds found in the local dumpsters.

Good. Go do it.

Do it now.

Do it all evening.

Do it all night.

Do it all day tomorrow.

Do it all day the day after tomorrow.

Keep on doing it for the next three months.

Then die on your dunghill and give your friends the parting gift of a fresh kettle of hobo stew.
