Hi guys,

I've never been in Japan, but I'm definitely planning to go there,
perhaps next year.
What yould you recommend me as a:
a) stuff related to ninjutsu
b) tourist atraction

Has anyone of you ever been to Togakure mountains? I saw some pictures
of that place, it's fascinating!

Regards,
Huo

No idea, sorry.

Now I can help you, I've been twice and planning to go again this
year.

It really depends on what you want out of your trip and where you plan
to visit.
In the Tokyo area:-
Bars/nightlife - Roppongi or Aoyama
Electrical goods - Akihabara
Shopping - Ginza

If you want to see some old Japan near Tokyo I would recommend
Kamakura, (one hour from the capital on the JR Yokosuka line from
Tokyo station) it was once the capital of Japan and there are lots of
temples plus a pretty impressive statue of Buddha. Further from Tokyo
(3 hours on the bullet train) Kyoto offers more history.

Hakone is good for countryside and hot springs plus the Tokaido road
(which the Tokugawa era samurai used to travel between Edo and Kyoto)
which is still preserved.

Whatever you do I would recommend buying a rail pass in your home
country before you go, you will save a lot of money if you plan to
travel a lot on your trip.

I hope all this is of help.

It's nice to know these adresses, thanks, allthough I think I won't have
much money to go shopping there, because I plan to spend it on trainings
mostly.

There is a ninja house and ninja museum at Iga-Ueno in Mie prefecture.
