We are very happy to present to you our new virtual gallery
www.ArtisticContours.com.

The gallery Artistic Contours is our sincere undertaking in the artistic
pursuits. It is our attempt to present the well-known works in a new light
and let the world discover the yet unknown ones. Being interested to observe
the historical thread of the art development and to challenge new horizons
we would like to explore in three directions and divide the gallery into
three sections correspondingly: Religious Art, Fine Art and Synth Art.

Religious Art is currently dedicated to the Russian icons. In the future we
are going to show more works from various collections touching upon various
religious, artistic and emotional aspects.

Within the Fine Art section of the gallery the present exhibition
concentrates on the art of the twentieth century. We show two relatively
early works of Emil Filla, a remarkable Czech artist of the first half of
this century. The exhibition includes two recent works of Vladimir
Ovchinnikov, one of the most prominent early unofficial figurative artists
of the Soviet Russia. We are fascinated by the work of another Russian
artist, Alexei Vermichev with his fragmented surface and purposeful
confusion of plane and scale. We would like to thank Victor Fedotov for his
kind contribution to our gallery. His romantic expressionism calls for a
strong flow of warm and colourful associations. Finally we are honoured to
invite you to the "Theatre of Passions" to discover the phenomena of Michael
Pavlenin.

The Synth Art section is devoted to the digital art. Valery Kritchallo,
whose work is presented here, exhibits an interesting collection of
synthetical images and collages, synthetical mirrors and glass sculptures.
His idea of capturing the uniqueness, complexity and vitality of art in the
virtual space is materialised in an original jewellery show. Last but not
least our collaboration with Valery Kritchallo resulted in the web gallery
www.ArtisticContours.com itself.

We hope you will enjoy visiting our gallery and will appreciate any of your
comments or suggestions.

Artistic Contours,
