Hey everyone

I"m looking for a resource (online or good book) that explains the various
techniques and things you should know about when doing acrylic painting.
I'm looking for the more technical aspect such as what is masking, how to
properly layer colours and just generally things you should keep in mind
when painting with acrylic. I'm already an avid artist who loves to draw
and sketch but I've never really touched painting before. I have an idea in
mind to reproduce on a large canvas but I'd like to know what I'm getting
into before I overlook simple technical issues.

any help is greatly apreciated!
thanks!

Hi, Frederic. The most important thing to keep in mind while painting with
acrylic is that it dries *so* fast. I mean, very fast. It only takes about
10 minutes (thin paints) and about 30 minutes for thick /heavy paint. Have
you done any painting using oil? If so, it's pretty much similar to painting
with oil paints. By the way, are you from Indonesia?
