"Anything under the sun is beautiful if you have the vision- it is the
seeing of the thing that makes it so."
-Charles Hawthorne (Hawthorne on Painting)

In addition to her training at Wayne State University where Camille
Przewodek earned her bachelor's degree in fine art, she spent more than five
summers studying under Henry Hensche at Cape School of Art in Provincetown,
Massachusetts and completed her training in illustration at the Academy of
Art College in San Francisco, California.
She has earned national clients such as Alfa Romeo, Chevron, Loews Hotels in
New York, Del Monte, Northwestern Air, Du Pont, Pacific Bell and RCA Records.
She has been published in the October 1997 issue of The Artist's Magazine
-"Tapping the Illustration Market"; Capturing Radiant Color in Oils -by
Susan Sarback (North Light Books, 1994); The May 1991 issue of The Artist's
Magazine -"Illuminate Your Paintings with Color".
Przewodek shows how light affects everything it touches, and what we see is
revealed by large masses of color. She teaches to see nature as it really
is. A new way of seeing gives a new way of being and a renewed confidence
in painting. Students learn a color vocabulary and a new sense of vision
that will open up possibilities for continued growth throughout their
painting lives.
"My use of color is inspired by color relationships perceived under many
varied light schemes. Light itself becomes the subject matter and carries
the illustration."
-Camille Przewodek
