I've seen and own some metal artwork, where the artist uses 1/8" steel
sheets and cuts out figures such as animals, trees, mountains and
etc... Then through a process of heat and chemicals, I assume, they a
add color to the metal. Shades of blues and browns mostly.

I'm attempting to doing some of this type of artwork, but I'm having
trouble figuring out how to add the color to the metal. I would sure
appreciate it if someone could steer me in the right direction.
